General Description: This course teaches navigational skills required to safely navigate a sailing vessel in coastal or inland waters.  This is a perfect course to better understand coastal navigation and how you interact with the world around you.  Beyond your GPS, you’ll learn skills to safely navigate waters that include tidal and current changes.

Format: Taught in 3 formats – Classroom, “On Safaris” combined with ASA104 or a Navigation “On Safaris”  Classroom format is taught as a two consecutive day, two consecutive weekend course.  “On Safaris” courses are 4 day courses taught while underway from Waukegan to Milwaukee.

Learning Investment: $450 – Classroom style – includes necessary course materials.
