Jeanneau 349 – Code Zero Techniques

This intermediate course is designed for sailors comfortable with the basics and who want to expand their knowledge and skills on the water. These sessions are designed to build confidence in basic sailing skills with a focus on boat handling and sail performance.

This session will focus on effective down wind sailing skills on a performance using a Code Zero  Asymmetrical Spinnaker. We’ll show you how to properly rig, set, trim, tack and douse a spinnaker on a performance cruising boat. The more sessions attended, the greater variety of skills you’ll learn & practice.

Format & Cost – These 2.5 hour courses are offered Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 8:30P twice per month from May – September using our J70 in Wilmette Harbor. $75.00 per person, per session.

Location – Waukegan Harbor – 625 E. Sea Horse Drive, Waukegan, IL.

In case of unsafe sailing conditions, we’ll reschedule earlier or later within the scheduled week if possible. Minimum of two students per session.
