Undoubtably you’ve driven the route from Chicago or Milwaukee to Door County. Instead of driving for over 4 hours, we’ll spend 5 days and explore the eastern coasts of Illinois and Wisconsin as we sail to the potential harbors of Kenosha, Racine, Milwaukee, Port Washington, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Kewanee, Algoma and finally Sturgeon Bay.
Step back in history and recall how passengers and goods were transferred between these important harbors to their destinations along the shores of Lake Michigan.
Learn a bit of Lake History along with the role these important harbors played in the growth of these Western Lake Michigan towns and the region as a whole.
