🌊 Sample Itinerary
Charter Dates: June 19 – June 26, 2027
Departure Marina: ECE Marina, Fethiye, Turkey
Day 1 – Saturday, June 19
Arrive at ECE Marina in Fethiye around noon and settle into vacation mode. This relaxed meeting time allows guests to check out of hotels, explore the town of Fethiye, and meet their fellow sailors before boarding.
Yachts are typically available by 5:00 PM, though some may be ready earlier. During the afternoon, we’ll organize provisioning, review the week’s plans, complete yacht orientations, and prepare for departure.
If the yachts are ready early and weather allows, we’ll cast off for our first destination, beautiful Kapi Creek, located across the Gulf of Fethiye. Depending on availability, we’ll either dock at a local restaurant pier or enjoy a traditional Mediterranean mooring with the yacht’s stern secured to shore.
Day 2 – Sunday, June 20
Today we begin exploring why this region is considered a sailor’s paradise.
We’ll sail among the islands and bays of the Gulf of Fethiye, stopping along the way for swimming, relaxing, and lunch in one of the area’s many protected anchorages. Depending on the wind, the day may bring spirited sailing or a peaceful Mediterranean cruise.
Our destination for the evening is Kapi Koyu, where we’ll dock near Adaya Restaurant and enjoy a wonderful dinner ashore.
Day 3 – Monday, June 21
Before departing, guests may hike or dinghy across the bay to visit the ruins of Cleopatra’s Baths, said to be where Cleopatra once enjoyed the waters with Marc Antony.
From there, we’ll continue sailing toward Tomb Bay, known for its ancient Lycian rock tombs carved into the hillside. Adventurous guests can hike up to the tombs and enjoy sweeping views over the bay.
Our final destination for the evening is Sarsala Bay, home to the charming Kucuk Sarsala Restaurant, where we’ll enjoy traditional Turkish mezze and a relaxed evening by the water.
Day 4 – Tuesday, June 22
If you didn’t have a chance to visit the Lycian tombs, there may be time this morning before we depart the northern side of the Gulf of Fethiye.
We’ll then sail south past the Yassica Islands toward the small island of Karacaoren. Here we’ll anchor, swim, snorkel, and explore ruins and tombs surrounded by beautiful, clear water.
The local restaurant is known for excellent food and offers moorings, making this a peaceful and secure overnight stop with a beautiful sunset.
Day 5 – Wednesday, June 23
This morning we’ll make our way to magical Butterfly Valley, a narrow canyon framed by dramatic rock walls. We’ll aim to arrive early to secure a good anchorage before the day-trip boats arrive from Fethiye and Ölüdeniz.
Guests can spend the day relaxing on the beach, snorkeling, exploring the valley, or hiking to the waterfall at the end of the canyon.
Later in the day, we’ll continue to nearby Gemiler Island, where we’ll anchor for the night and enjoy dinner aboard.
Day 6 – Thursday, June 24
Before leaving Gemiler Island, we’ll explore the island’s remarkable Byzantine ruins, including the remains associated with St. Nicholas, patron saint of sailors.
Afterward, we’ll cross the Gulf of Fethiye toward Göcek, a charming harbor town filled with restaurants, shops, and lively waterfront atmosphere.
We’ll spend the night in the local marina and enjoy dinner ashore, with time to stroll through town and soak in the relaxed Turkish coastal vibe.
Day 7 – Friday, June 25
Our final sailing day takes us back toward Fethiye. We’ll spend as much time under sail as possible, enjoying one last day on the water and taking in the stunning coastline.
Depending on timing and conditions, we may stop for one final swim or lunch before returning to base.
Guests may spend the final night aboard or choose to stay in a nearby hotel.
Day 8 – Departure Day – Saturday, June 26
Guests staying aboard Friday night will disembark by 9:00 AM.
Say farewell to your yacht, your fellow sailors, and an unforgettable week exploring Turkey’s beautiful Turquoise Coast.
