This endorsement course teaches students the basics of celestial navigation with the working knowledge to gain a position fix at sea. Students will get hands-on experience with the sextant and learn the fascinating concepts that make celestial navigation possible. We highly recommend this course as an important skill for emergency navigation and as a fun learning exercise that will allow you to better understand everyday lunar changes.
Format: Taught at Milwaukee Yacht Club. This course is offered over 16 hours in 2 eight-hour days.

Putting theory into practice, this course covers the ability to skipper a boat night or day, on a sailboat 30 – 50 feet, in all conditions. During this week-long live-aboard course you will be under the supervision of a ASA certified instructor – perfect time to take advantage of the conditions and test your skills!
